- 2 tsp. rice vinegar
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1/2 red pepper (not too hot)
- 1/2 tsp. cane or white sugar
- 2 tbsp. l. vegetable oil
- 2-3 tbsp. l. water
The recipe is simple, but it will take a lot of time. Because fuju first needs to be soaked overnight in cold water (room temperature). And then marinate for 2-3 hours. at least, and preferably at night too.
How to deliciously marinate soy asparagus
So, fill the asparagus with drinking water. The water completely covers the fuju. Leave it overnight. By morning, the color of the asparagus will change slightly, become lighter, and the fibers themselves will soften.
We take dishes in which it will be convenient to marinate the soy product. And we begin to prepare the marinade. Add vinegar and soy sauce. Mix.
Add finely chopped garlic; you can also pass it through a garlic press. Cut red hot pepper into rings. Pepper to taste. I like it spicier. Add sugar.
Add some water. Cut the asparagus into small pieces. And put it in the marinade.
Fill the bowl completely. Half of the fuju will drown in the marinade, and half will remain on the surface (this also depends on the shape of the dish), so the soy snack needs to be stirred occasionally to marinate evenly.
Place in the refrigerator overnight. Or for 2-3 hours at least. After this time, the marinated soy asparagus will be ready. We pour oil over it.
